The shots to the right and below are from a great jazz opera called John Grace Ranter, written by Michael Sahl with Margaret Yard.
Ranter's a cult leader remanded to an asylum for observation. While there he heals the patients, falls in love with the head nurse, and blows it all to Kingdom Come. Great and complex jazz (and some country) licks with lyrics you'd best buckle-up your brain for.

Welcome. This (and Operalia) is a vanity page about some of the performance work I've been lucky enough to do in my profession.
My most recent fully-staged theatre work was in John Stothers' amazing Pilgrim, and you'll find (one of my favorite) pictures of my character, Master Metsys, at the bottom of this page. You can also find Pilgrim over on Favorite Links.
All of this was shaken, not stirred by the legendary Tom O'Horgan, original director of JCSuperstar, Hair, Lenny, et al. That patient at left is Joe Fox, a pulitzer-prize-nominated journalist.

So. I sang baroque opera for 5 seasons with Measured Breaths Theatre in NYC, garnering reviews from The New York Times, Opera News (thrice), Village Voice (twice), The Nation, The Courier. I've workshopped and premiered 13 musicals or operas there and in LA (4 of those with Wendy), including MacGregors and the Broadway-bound Pilgrim (haven't you been to our links yet?). I've co-starred in 6 feature films, had a recurring role on (say it with me) Power Rangers and appeared as Ozzy's manic butler on MTV's The Osbournes. I've done voice-over characters for 9 Japanese Anime, sung concerts in England and Italy, and am writing Dracula, Fugue in Moonlight with composer Gianluca Cuchiarra whenever we're on the same continent. For MaXaM I developed and co-wrote the feature film The Quest, now in production, and for Shadowland Productions I've just finished writing Forsaken and Finding Haven with Wendy, and am currently developing the metaphysical horror film None Greater Than (set at Harlaxton!!).

This effects shot of Warlock is from the feature film The Crusaders. Go see the other fine people involved, at the related link.
