Wendy Lashbrook (Coloratura Soprano), when in NYC is the Artistic Director and Soprano Soloist for Outcat Productions, producing works of jazz composer Paul Knopf. A CD of Mr. Knopf's music, Ramifications, with all vocal tracks by Ms. Lashbrook, was released to acclaim last year. She appeared in Baroque opera leading roles for four seasons with The Measured Breaths Theatre to stellar reviews in Opera News ("star of the evening ...affectingly fragile and delicious"), New York Newsday ("strongest performer ...guileless and sweet") and The Village Voice ("conspicuously fine ...deftly subliminal"), among others. Recent NYC performances include Bach's Christmas Oratorio, Knopf's Mass in AA(ron) and E(mma) and Mary in the Christmas opera Signals. Regional theatre credits include: Rosa Bud in The Mystery of Edwin Drood, The Girl in The Fantasticks, Hope Harcourt in Anything Goes, Constance Neville in She Stoops to Conquer (The Musical).

Ms. Lashbrook currently lives and teaches voice in Burbank, California. She is Soprano Soloist at the United Methodist Church of Burbank, California and was a staff singer with the Pacific Chorale and John Alexander Singers. She recently recorded song cycles set to poetry of Edna St. Vincent Millay and Sylvia Plath, by L.A. composer John Mitchell.
